The GISSV 20th Anniversary Gala is a premier fundraising and community-building event for the German International School of Silicon Valley, which is recognized as an Exzellente Auslandsschule (German School Abroad of Excellence), the highest accreditation level awarded by the German government. The formal event includes a reception, 3-course plated-dinner, open bar, silent auction, live auction, and dancing.
As GISSV turns 20 years old, we celebrate how far we have come in a short time; from initial operations in a church basement to now a premier educational institution in the Bay Area. With over 150 graduates who have received the German Abitur and California high school diploma, we commemorate the educational excellence that our students have continued to demonstrate in the global community.
Our gala is both a fantastic community-building event and a fundraiser. We encourage all guests to give in a way that is meaningful to them. You are invited to bid on the incredible array of items in the silent and live auctions. All proceeds from the Gala directly benefit GISSV San Francisco and Mountain View campuses. We encourage attire in the spirit of the roaring 20s. Otherwise, you may choose to wear a suit or jacket with or without ties, and evening gown, cocktail dress or even a Dirndl.

Individual Ticket purchase:
Price increases to $185/person if purchased between Feb 19 and March 1 March 6.
GISSV teachers and staff can purchase a ticket for themselves at a reduced price of $100. Partners and friends will be charged at the regular ticket price.
Teacher / Staff Ticket Donation Fund:
Attendees are also encouraged to make a $100 contribution to allow our teachers and staff to purchase a ticket at a reduced rate. For the sake of fairness, please do not name a specific teacher. This is a general fund to benefit our teachers and staff wishing to join the event.
Table sale: $1500 for a table of 10. Must be purchased by February 28th. Table sales extended until March 6th! Please indicate the names of all attendees and their dietary requirements for this table.
